Job Summary:
PBS Engineers is a consulting engineering firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design services. They are seeking an experienced IT Operations & Support Engineer to provide Tier 2 end-user support and manage IT operations within a fast-paced AEC consulting environment, ensuring reliable and efficient IT services that support business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support and escalation assistance
• Support engineers and staff in a high-demand consulting environment
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and file services
• Assist with Hyper-V virtualized environments
• Troubleshoot networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN)
• Assist with Azure administration and cloud services
• Maintain documentation and ticketing records
• Participate in after-hours maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–5 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience
• Experience supporting end users in a professional services or AEC environment preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V preferred)
