As the Equine Specialty Hospital continues to grow, we want to ensure we have a team in place that will be able to support our patient's and client's needs. We have equine jobs for Registered Veterinarian Technicians and Veterinary Assistants that have the skills, desire, and motivation to join our existing team and support the medical needs of our patients.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities include administration of treatments to hospitalized horses, preparing horses for surgery, administration of anesthesia, and assistance with outpatient procedures. This is a full-time position. The hours are 1st shift, mainly Monday through Friday. On call emergency anesthesia will be shared with 3 additional other RVT's. Prerequisites include a strong equine background and must be licensed in the State of Ohio. Candidates who are currently enrolled in a veterinary technology associate program will be considered for hire as well. Previous anesthesia experience is not required. Anesthesia training will be provided.

Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities include monitoring hospitalized horses, administration of treatments to hospitalized horses, and assisting with surgeries and outpatient procedures. A strong work ethic, willingness to work as part of a team, and strong horse-handling skills are required. This is a full-time position. Defined shift will be determined based on needs of the hospital.
