We're hiring a Warehouse Technology Associate at our Telematics Warehouse in Overland Park, KS and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Warehouse Technology Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations related to technology hardware, including receiving, inventory management, device provisioning, kitting, quality inspection, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures that all products and devices are accurately received, properly configured, carefully assembled, and shipped in a "field-ready" condition to meet customer and company standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Inventory & Receiving
  • Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.
  • Verify product quantities and serial numbers; scan and record devices in the inventory management system.
  • Generate and apply product identification, tracking, and shipping labels.
  • Direct incoming products to the appropriate location (quality inspection, provisioning, storage, etc.).
  • Support purchase order entry, invoice tracking, and inventory reconciliation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.

Device Readiness & Configuration
  • Power up, provision, assemble, and configure telematics and electronic devices according to current specifications.
  • Perform firmware updates and configuration changes via OTA, USB, serial connection, or command-line tools.
  • Conduct quality inspections on inbound devices and wiring harnesses.
  • Troubleshoot and triage device issues during provisioning and readiness processes.
  • Collaborate with quality, development, and support teams to ensure compliance with versioning and configuration requirements.
  • Ensure all devices are "field ready" prior to shipment.

Kitting & Assembly
  • Review and interpret work orders and pick lists to assemble kits and subassemblies.
  • Accurately count, assemble, and package components according to customer specifications.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including scan guns, label printers, shrink wrappers, and other packaging tools.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality control during kit assembly and preparation.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping
  • Perform final quality checks against pick lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.
  • Pack orders to prevent damage and optimize shipping efficiency.
  • Generate packing slips and apply appropriate carrier, regulatory, and lithium battery labels.
  • Prepare small package and LTL shipments for carrier pickup.
  • Support domestic and international shipping processes, including customs documentation when required.
  • Load outbound packages and freight safely and efficiently.

Safety & Continuous Improvement
  • Follow all safety standards and warehouse best practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and operations functions.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with telematics or consumer electronics devices preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and shipping documentation.
  • Experience using tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, volt meters, and related equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency with PCs and standard software applications; familiarity with command-line tools is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Experience with UPS WorldShip, LTL freight, small package shipping, and Customs processes is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours per shift (with breaks).
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and use ladders and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to safely handle electronic equipment, including devices containing batteries.
