Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect - Teamcenter to lead the transformation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities for a major Aerospace & Defense organization.
  • In this strategic leadership role, you will serve as the primary Teamcenter solution authority on a large-scale modernization program, helping replace aging legacy PDM and process-planning systems with a modern, scalable, and future-ready Teamcenter platform.
  • You will be responsible for defining the end-to-end solution architecture, translating complex business requirements into robust Teamcenter capabilities, and ensuring the platform is designed to support next-generation engineering practices, including AI-enabled and agent-assisted workflows.
  • Working closely with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and global consultants, you will drive technical excellence, solution governance, and successful program outcomes across a distributed delivery model.
  • This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Teamcenter expert who has successfully architected and delivered enterprise-scale PLM transformations within highly regulated and complex industries.

Your Role
  • Lead the overall Teamcenter solution architecture, including data models, BMIDE configurations, item and BOM structures, workflows, security models, and system configurations.
  • Translate legacy PDM and process-planning functionality into scalable Teamcenter solutions while defining the optimal balance between configuration and customization.
  • Design AI- and agent-ready PLM architectures by leveraging APIs, structured data models, and modern integration frameworks that enable augmented engineering workflows.
  • Define and govern the integration strategy for CAD systems, BOM management, Manufacturing Process Planning (MBPP), and related engineering applications.
  • Develop solution approaches that modernize legacy capabilities while maintaining a clean, supportable, and upgrade-friendly Teamcenter environment.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates, implementation assumptions, and solution recommendations that strengthen program planning and delivery confidence.
  • Lead and mentor a global onshore-offshore team, ensuring architectural consistency, design quality, and resolution of complex technical and business trade-offs throughout the program lifecycle.

Your Skills & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in PLM solution architecture with deep, hands-on expertise in Siemens Teamcenter implementations and enterprise delivery programs.
  • Proven success leading multiple full lifecycle Teamcenter deployments, including data modeling, BMIDE development, configuration management, CAD integrations, BOM management, and MBPP capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of modern PLM architectures and the principles required to enable AI-driven, agent-assisted, and data-centric engineering environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable integrations using APIs, services, and modern digital engineering frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead architecture and delivery teams across global onshore-offshore models while maintaining quality, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Extensive experience migrating complex legacy PDM systems and transforming engineering processes into modern PLM platforms.
  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience, or experience within similarly regulated, highly complex manufacturing environments, with a deep understanding of compliance, governance, and engineering data management requirements.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $103,879 - $242,400.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
