Job Title: Teamcenter Business Analyst PLM
Location: Austin, TX 78729/ Cincinnati (OH)/ Atlanta (GA), Indianapolis (IN), Hartford (CT), Raleigh (NC), Richardson (TX), Phoenix (AZ), and New York City (NY)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Business Analyst with strong PLM domain expertise to lead requirement gathering, business process analysis, and solution design activities for Teamcenter-based digital transformation initiatives. The candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of PLM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead requirement elicitation workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current and future-state processes.
  • Perform business process analysis, fit-gap assessments, and document functional requirements, use cases, and user stories.
  • Work closely with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into Teamcenter solutions.
  • Drive Teamcenter implementation, enhancement, migration, upgrade, and rollout initiatives.
  • Support PLM processes including Product Structure Management, BOM Management, Change & Configuration Management, Workflow Management, and Document Management.
  • Facilitate UAT sessions, defect triage, user training, and change management activities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT teams to improve product development processes.
  • Provide functional guidance on Teamcenter best practices and process optimization opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of overall Business Analysis experience with 7+ years of Teamcenter/PLM experience.
  • Strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter and PLM business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with BOM Management, Change Management, Workflow Management, Document Management, Product Structure Management, and Active Workspace.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and leading stakeholder discussions.
  • Understanding Teamcenter integrations with CAD tools (NX, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks) and ERP solutions (SAP/Oracle).
  • Experience with Teamcenter implementation, migration, upgrade, or support projects.
  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Experience working in Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Equipment, or High-Tech industries.
Preferred Qualification
  • Teamcenter implementation or transformation program experience.
  • Agile/Scrum project experience.
  • Exposure to PLM consulting engagements and global delivery models.
  • Teamcenter certification is a plus.
