Job description

Job Summary
Teamcenter Developer with TC versions- TC 14 and above with around 12 years of experience.
Strong implementation knowledge on - ITK C/C++ perl client-side customization SOA services BMIDE configuration Dispatcher configuration and customization.
Experience in developing web applications using html web methods json java scripts
Strong understanding of Teamcenter datamodel 2T/4T architecture with exposure to AWC/EWI
Should have good understanding of change management
Responsibilities
  • Drive the end to end implementation of Teamcenter solutions by analyzing business processes defining detailed requirements and configuring PLM capabilities that align with client goals and organizational standards
  • Design robust Teamcenter architectures by evaluating scalability performance and integration constraints to ensure stable and secure PLM environments for enterprise deployments
  • Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders including engineering manufacturing quality and IT teams to translate complex functional needs into practical Teamcenter configurations and extensions
  • Optimize existing Teamcenter implementations by assessing current usage patterns identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements that enhance usability performance and user adoption
  • Prepare detailed functional and technical specifications by documenting workflows data models and configuration changes to ensure traceability and maintainability throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Guide development and integration activities by collaborating with technical teams to implement customizations extensions and interfaces between Teamcenter and enterprise applications such as ERP and CAD tools
  • Conduct structured system testing and validation by designing test scenarios executing test cycles and documenting outcomes to ensure that Teamcenter features meet functional expectations and quality criteria
  • Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions by creating practical training materials walkthroughs and demonstration scenarios that help users effectively leverage Teamcenter capabilities in daily operations
  • Provide ongoing production support and issue resolution by analyzing incidents performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions that minimize recurring problems and support continuous stability
  • Advise clients on PLM best practices by benchmarking existing processes against industry standards especially in hi tech environments and recommending enhancements that drive efficiency and innovation
  • Collaborate with product and strategy teams by sharing insights from client engagements and proposing improvements to templates accelerators and reusable assets that improve delivery consistency and speed
  • Document project progress and solution decisions by preparing clear status reports configuration logs and knowledge articles that support transparency audit readiness and future enhancements
  • Align daily activities with organizational purpose by ensuring that Teamcenter solutions help clients bring high quality products to market faster reduce waste and contribute to more sustainable and efficient product development practices

Qualifications
  • Possess extensive hands on experience with Teamcenter configuration administration and deployment including workflows lifecycles BOM management and change management tailored to enterprise use cases
  • Demonstrate strong experience in analyzing and mapping business processes to Teamcenter capabilities and in writing clear functional specifications for complex PLM requirements
  • Apply solid understanding of integration patterns between Teamcenter and CAD applications or enterprise platforms and support teams in designing stable and maintainable interfaces
  • Bring experience working in hi tech or related product development domains where fast innovation cycles and complex configurations demand efficient PLM practices
  • Utilize consulting skills such as stakeholder management workshop facilitation and requirements prioritization to guide clients toward feasible and value driven Teamcenter solutions
  • Exhibit the ability to operate in a hybrid work model by managing time effectively collaborating through digital tools and maintaining consistent communication with distributed teams and clients
  • Maintain familiarity with modern software development and deployment practices related to PLM solutions including configuration management version control and structured change processes

Hourly Rate and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $128K to $150K per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
