Job description

The Liquid Packaging Lead is responsible for a variety of tasks including Setup, Organizing , helping resolve production issues and ensuring that their production team and responsibilities are completed in a timely manner. The Liquid Packaging Lead observes and directs their team operators, verifies product quality, monitors and tracks key performance metrics. The Liquid Packaging lead verifies counts and data to ensure it is reported correctly.
Responsibilities:
  • Leads, trains, and coaches production staff to ensure manufacturing requirements are met;
  • Organizes Operators Daily responsibilities
  • Act as department communicator during status meetings, management updates, and staff shift changes;
  • Perform manufacturing processes by tracking and reporting daily metrics that meet production timeline and goals;
  • Setup and operates Liquid Packaging equipment
  • Equipment included but not limited to;
  • Piston fillers
  • Monobloc filler
  • Drum agitator
  • Label machine
  • Tape machine
  • Laser encoders with software
  • Make sure equipment and machinery are properly maintained and promptly repaired; communication with mgmt and maintenance as needed
  • Assists with Monthly Inventories
  • Ensure production quotas and quality standards are met or exceeded;
  • Ensure products and team personnel are in compliance with professional standards; meeting all cGMP requirements
  • Enforces safety policies and procedures at all times;
  • Communicates effectively and respectfully to maintain an inviting, friendly, and safe teamwork environment;
  • Signs off on verifications, packets, logs, and other documentations;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Production Manager and/or Plant Manager

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a Production Operator position or job title with similar responsibilities
  • High School diploma or GED equivalence
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to effectively read, write, speak, and understand English to perform job duties, follow safety procedures and work instructions, and communicate with supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential, including a willingness to assume additional responsibilities and participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, including company-sponsored training, regulatory requirements, and safety policies.
