Position Overview

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) operates under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to execute personalized treatment plans aimed at helping residents attain their maximum level of independence and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer occupational therapy interventions as specified in the resident’s care plan.
  • Accurately document resident progress and treatment results in a timely manner.
  • Relay updates on resident status and therapy progress to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist residents in enhancing functional mobility, daily living activities (ADLs), and adaptive skills.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident conditions.

Qualifications
