  • Collect and analyze scholar data to make instructional decisions and demonstrate progress toward IEP goals

  • Partner with related-service providers (speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, adapted PE, etc.) to integrate services and reinforce goals across the school day
  • Manage sensory, communication, and physical accommodations - including AAC devices, adaptive seating, feeding protocols, and toileting supports - with dignity and care
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with families rooted in respect for their expertise as their scholar's first teacher
  • Uphold and reinforce the school's culture of high expectations, urgency, and joy
  • Participate in coaching cycles, professional development, and grade-level planning
  • Support school-wide operations during non-instructional blocks - including arrival and dismissal duties, family engagement events, and other operational needs as assigned
Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a passionate, mission-aligned educator who sees every scholar's potential and delivers instruction with warmth, skill, and structure.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Bring warmth, patience, structure, and joy to your classroom every day
  • Communicate clearly with scholars at all levels of communication ability, with families, and with adult colleagues
  • Lead paraprofessionals with respect, clarity, and coaching
  • Are coachable, reflective, and open to feedback
