Job description

Position

Under the general supervision of the Principal and Assistant Principal, serve as additional support to the classroom teacher and students of SST. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Work cooperatively and effectively with teachers, students, other work personnel, and parents.
  • Arrive to work as scheduled, demonstrating punctuality, dependability, and personnel hygiene.
  • Comply with personnel policies, student rights, and Exeter Cooperative School District policies and procedures.
  • Function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity.
  • Assist in implementing lesson plans as provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Carry out extra duties of the classroom teacher such as photocopying.
  • Continually communicate with the classroom teacher.
  • Demonstrate genuine concern for the students.
  • Set high expectations for student behavior and learning.
  • Be engaged in activities of classroom and monitor students at all times.
  • Keep students informed of schedules and expectations.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
