Job description

Join a growing academic healthcare team in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where youโ€™ll deliver comprehensive nephrology care and help train the next generation of physicians in a collaborative teaching environment.

What youโ€™ll do

  • Provide full-spectrum inpatient and outpatient nephrology care, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions.
  • Oversee and coordinate care for patients on dialysis, working closely with nursing, dialysis staff, social work, and other specialists.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and subspecialists to create patient-centered treatment plans.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical supervision and structured educational activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and other academic initiatives as appropriate.
