Responsibilities
What you can expect to do.
Uncover the light and potential in each student by diagnosing and addressing learning, social, and emotional skill gaps. Collaborate with school teams and families to offer personalized guidance and deliver SESI's own evidence-based learning and instructional models, as well as positive behavioral interventions and support framework. You'll inspire, empower, and transform with our innovative learning approach, unique instructional environments, smaller class sizes, and the support services students need to shine.

  • Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint when necessary to maintain the safety of students and staff.
  • Maintain student documents such as individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
  • Drive, record, and track student growth and progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
  • Supervise and monitor students, including to and from locations within the school.
