Job description

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing specialized support to high school learners as a contract Special Education Teacher near Meriden, CT. You’ll work hands-on with students grades 9-12, championing their academic and personal growth through tailored instruction and case management. This role is ideal for passionate educators committed to fostering inclusive learning environments.

In this position, you’ll manage a caseload of 10-15 students with mild to moderate needs, collaborating closely with general education teachers to develop strategies that unlock each student’s potential. You’ll bring your skills as a learning specialist to both small-group intervention and co-teaching scenarios—delivering direct reading and math support and partnering with colleagues in ELA and Math classrooms. Desired Qualifications and Experience:
