Pay Scale: $14 to $16 an hour (D.O.E.)

Float Responsibilities: 
  • Assist the lead or assistant teachers in carrying out overall classroom management support, routines and daily activities, including changing diapers or assisting our potty trainers.
  • Maintain a consistent daily routine in each classroom; jumping in and engaging children as needed.
  • Assist in conflict management between children in the classroom as you learn about each individual child.
  • Being respectful and creating partnerships with your co-workers; must possess a solid ability to communicate positively and openly.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff; this includes cleaning responsibilities throughout the day including closing duties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Maintain quick & efficient transitions between classrooms ensuring timely teacher breaks
Position Requirements:
  • Available between the hours of 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday through Friday
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check, have no record of child abuse or neglect, and attend a Pediatric CPR and First Aid Training class
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
