Job description

At East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, we commit to educating and empowering students to understand and transform our world. ECU is a state regional university offering thirty-three undergraduate baccalaureate degree programs in arts, business, education, mathematics, sciences, nursing, and the social sciences; and six master's degrees in accounting, education, human resources, psychology, management, and water resources. ECU's 3,500 (average) students come from 35 countries and 22 different states. About 65% of the 147 full-time faculty hold doctorates.

The Position(s):
The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) at East Central University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty in undergraduate programs in Art (including Art History), Communication, Media, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, American Sign Language, Spanish, and English Composition. We also invite applications for part-time adjunct faculty for graduate programs in Counseling and Criminal Justice. We need adjunct faculty to teach on the ground in Ada, Oklahoma as well as online. Qualified candidates will be placed in a pool and contacted about teaching during the 2025-2026 academic year. Master's degree in relevant discipline required.
