Job Description
  • The Manager, Government Pricing supports the data preparation, validation, calculation and analysis of price reporting required by the following government programs:
    • Medicaid Drug Rebate
    • Medicare Part B
    • VA Federal Supply Schedule
    • PHS 340B Drug Discount
  • Prepares and validates underlying data for one or more of the following: Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP), Federal Ceiling Price (FCP), Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) and Unit Rebate Amounts (URA).
  • Responsible for review and maintenance of key master data utilized within all Government Pricing calculations.
  • Manages the clients' class of trade hierarchy and ensures that all incoming transactions are tagged or mapped to the correct designation.
  • Analyzes calculation results and identify the source of variances that are observed.
  • Works closely with clients, GP Manager and technical team to resolve system, data and process issues.
  • Documents all revisions and data manipulations on clients' data as per financial controls and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures timely and accurate calculation of assigned government prices based on the monthly, quarterly and annual schedule. SGPA will review calculations with Manager and obtain approval signoff (and execute any other required SOPs) before communicating prices to clients, the appropriate government agencies (CMS, VA/DOD, etc.) or internal Medicaid Rebates users.
  • Responsible for maintaining SOPs, SOX/SOC-1 documentation and price calculation evidence of work.
  • Actively participate in the GP Management Team to ensure the continued success of the Team. This includes coaching direct report and leading teaching and training sessions around current and new enacted laws and guidance.

Qualifications
What you'll need to thrive in this role:
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to think strategically and work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize and work within strict timelines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in working in Model N, Revitas, iContracts and SAP/Vistex a plus.
  • Ability to successfully interact with Management and customers.
  • Be a leader on the GP Team.

What you'll bring to the table:
  • 5+ years of direct experience with government contracts and pricing calculations including familiarity with rebate and chargeback processing
  • Strong problem solving skills and hands-on ability to manipulate and analyze financial data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.

What success looks like in this role:
  • Execute all assigned controls, data manipulations and process steps related to Government Pricing calculations and submissions with a high degree of accuracy on time
  • Respond in a timely fashion to pricing questions and pricing requests received from customers and the access management team.
