Job description

Coffee Truck Barista & Customer Experience Specialist

Location: Washington, DC (Mobile Coffee Truck)

Pay: $18–$20 per hour + tips (Average earnings often exceed $22/hour)

Schedule:

  • Part-time or Full-time
  • Early mornings required
  • Typical start time: 5:30 AM
  • Weekend availability is a plus

Our coffee truck has built a loyal following because we believe great coffee should come with great conversation and exceptional service. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and can turn first-time customers into regulars.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages
  • Welcome every customer with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business
  • Help attract new customers through friendly, engaging interactions
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle transactions
  • Set up and prepare the truck before opening
  • Keep the truck clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
