NYS Certified Teaching Assistant- Long Island

Family of Kidz is hiring and has immediate openings! If you are looking to create your own schedule and have a passion for helping kids, you're in the right place!

Details about this opportunity:

  • Location: Long Island , NY (school districts across Nassau and Suffolk County)
  • Status: Part time Hourly, School calendar with potential for extended school year
  • Hours: Monday-Friday During School Hours.
  • Compensation: $25-27/Hour

  • Provide instructional services and support to students under the supervision of a certified teacher
  • Help prepare teaching materials and environment to support instruction
  • Familiarity with basic behavior intervention strategies and principles
  • Participate in maintaining data collection to ensure success of academic and behavioral plans.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with children and staff.
