Job description

We are a vibrant Montessori school looking for a motivated assistant teacher to join our team of committed educators. You would be responsible for the care and education of young children ages 1 to 4 years old.

EXCELLENT PAY (depending on education and experience) & BENEFITS (holidays, sick days, vacation time, health benefits, & professional development).

We seek educators who can:

· Meet a child’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs by providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment in surroundings that are inviting, interesting, and stimulating;

· Prepare lesson plans that span the day’s various activities and projects;

· Carry out appropriate and positive discipline;

· Help to ready the classroom environment every afternoon for the coming day;

· Complete any tasks/duties as assigned by the Main Office;

· Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards;

· Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child;

· Have countless advancement opportunities through ongoing training and our growing campus.

We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:

· An A.A. degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field; AND/OR

· Montessori Certification;

· 12 ECE credit hours and 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare facility; OR

· CDA or CCP and 2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
