Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an opening for a full-time Teacher Aide for the 2026-27 school year. The classroom aide supports the teacher by assisting students individually and in small groups, supervising students in all school settings, reinforcing safety, preparing materials, and helping with daily routines, activities, and events. The aide may substitute for the teacher when needed, follow school policies, maintain confidentiality, model Catholic values, and communicate student needs or concerns to the teacher. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, organization, and the ability to multitask while safely supervising and supporting students throughout the school day. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (10 Months)
Qualifications:
  • High School or GED required.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies, especially online communication technologies.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
  • Good spelling and grammar are required.
  • Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
