Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) functions in a scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications/solutions, implants and instrument processing and may assist with circulating duties, as well as, participate in activities related to standards and quality improvement for the specialty and the department.
Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as a CST, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $25.50, max of salary range is $38.30.
Required Qualifications
- Require active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
-Completion of a Surgical Technician program
-Ability to sit for certification exam
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer knowledgeable of selected specialty.
- Prefer ability in one-on-one demonstration of sterile technique.
Required License and Certs
BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
CST: Certified Surg Technologist
