Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive?
Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Clarkston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PreK and School Age Classroom Aide to support teachers in providing high-quality educational experiences that foster learning, creativity, and positive development for children ages 4-10.
In this role, you will provide support and coverage to the GSRP teaching staff so they can utilize their planning time effectively. You will provide coverage during breaks and lunches to maintain staffing ratios and will serve as an integral part of the after-care School Age closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children. This position offers training and development with potential for advancement within the organization and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in early childhood education.
Position Detail:
Status: Regular, part-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12pm-6pm
Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
Pay range: $14.50-$17/hour (based on certification/education and prior experience)
Additional compensation: $18/hour if willing to drive the 14-passenger bus
Please note: This position does not qualify for US Visa Sponsorship or relocation
Requirements
  • You must be at least 18 years of age (required)
  • Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire)
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting or as a private nanny (preferred)
  • Dependable with reliable transportation
