Gibson County Special School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Teachers.

To be a substitute teacher you will need to complete the substitute training course. The cost to take the course is $49.00. Once you have submitted a completed substitute teacher application, click here to complete the Substitute Training Course. Please send the certificate at the end of the training course to Brad Garner at GCSSD.

Position Summary: The Substitute Teacher is responsible for educating each student under his or her care based on the work assigned by the teacher or school system for the assigned days. Other responsibilities may include bus duty, playground supervision or other duties as assigned.
