Job description

Tea Around Town Chicago is looking for self-sufficient, attentive, and hard working individuals to join our team of Supervisors. Individuals should be flexible with schedules, able to balance a few tasks at once, and provide clear and concise leadership to our teams of singing servers on board the tea bus.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for staff.
  • Coordinate and confirm daily catering orders.
  • Communicate the food predictions to the caterer Monday/Wednesday/Friday
  • Ensure all materials needed for the day are sent with the Tea Bus operation.
  • Provide relief where needed amongst staff.
  • Maneuver to assist cover any call outs.
  • Facilitate ticket scanning and customer boarding.
  • Coaching and training as needed.
  • Report any inventory/bus needs.
  • Communicate daily operations in comprehensive reports
  • Maintain a level of high standards to ensure a "WOW" experience.

Requirements:
  • 1 year previous leadership experience in the restaurant industry
  • Ability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays weekly during a 9 hour shift between 8:00am - 9:30pm
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques is beneficial
