Job description

Salary: starting $15/hr base pay + commissions

STUDIO OVERVIEW

Serasana means To Be Healthy, and our mission is to create a community of hope and healing. We are seeking a Client Service associate to work Wednesday and Fridays from 2 pm to 7:30 pm, and weekend hours. Additional hours may become available in the summer.


Serasana St Johns is a Wellness Studio that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in stress and pain management, by encouraging regular use of acupuncture, yoga, massage, healing tea and remedies. Our environment is unique--we have a beautiful tea bar and a thoughtful retail selection that supports our clients on their wellness journey. We have six treatment rooms and a gorgeous yoga studio.


We are located in SilverLeaf at 70 Silver Forest Drive, Ste 109, St. Augustine, FL 32092.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Transition each client into our community of hope and healing--guide clients in their decisions about wellness.


GENERAL

Greet clients upon arrival, answer phones, schedule appointments, answer questions, check out clients, merchandise and sell retail products, handle purchasing and inventory control, attend staff meetings and handle central communication with all Team Members


TEA RELATED

Educate clients on tea, take drink orders, make drinks, clean, stock teas and supplies, accept shipments, handle retail sales transactions. Adhere to all regulations set forth by Health Department.


YOGA RELATED

Greet clients arriving for class, answer questions, guide them to the proper location, explain payment options, sell packages, sell retail, explain yoga styles, registerstudents, manage the sign-in sheet, collect payments.


ACUPUNCTURE/MASSAGE/SPECIALTY SERVICES

Check-in clients, ensure clients are takeninto the spa on time, assist therapists, change linens in rooms if needed, keep therapy rooms stocked, answer client questions about services, sell retailand treatment packages, give tours of the spa, do laundry, and assist with cleaning as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic math skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva
  • Social Media skills including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more
  • Basic knowledge of yoga, acupuncture, massage and tea
  • Comfortableconversing with strangers
  • Retail sales competence
  • Experience with MindBody software is a plus but not required.


CONDITIONS OF WORK

Can be long shifts, short shifts, or split shifts. Flexible shifts.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Brisk walking, lifting 20 lbs. and frequent bending
  • Keen eyesight
  • Live a tobacco-freeand vaping-free lifestyle
  • Report to work free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
