Job description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham Human Resources team is recruiting for an HR Training and Operations Analyst I to join our dynamic and committed HRIS team of professionals. Our forward-looking team works as a collaborative, caring partner to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services in meeting the needs of those we serve. The HR Training and Operations Analyst will manage training and operations for one or more HR systems, and assist, advise and serve as a resource for other HR Training and Operations Analysts on complex issues.

To manage the administrative system training and operations for one or more HR systems. To provide training, support, troubleshooting and policy interpretation for assigned HR systems. To review, test and document system modifications to maintain or enhance the HR administrative systems, level of service, and adherence to university, local, state or federal regulations. To develop and maintain on-line training and documentation. To provide individual, classroom or campus-wide seminars on functional topics.

Duties and Responsibilities:


    Will provide training, support, troubleshooting and policy interpretation for assigned HR systems. 
    Will review, test and document system modifications to maintain or enhance the HR administrative systems, level of service, and adherence to university, local, state or federal regulations.
    Develop and maintain on-line training and documentation, and provide individual, classroom or campus wide seminars on functional topics where necessary. 
    Essential Accountabilities: System administration, troubleshooting (system issues and end user issues), testing, and training for the following systems and processes: Campus Learning System (Docebo),LinkedIn Learning, UAB Learning Locker, Freskdesk Ticketing/Operational System, and other supporting systems/processes 
    Oversee the process improvements and design, development, testing and documentation of system modifications to maintain or enhance the administrative system, level of service, and adherence to university, local, state or federal regulations.
    Work closely with the rest of the HR and IT teams to collaborate and resolve issues related to: systems/process/training/policy/awareness. 
    Learn and understand changes and policies as they relate to the assigned systems and processes. 
    Special projects as assigned.

Salary Range:  $52,555 - $62,169.12
 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. 

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:


    Anticipate and resolve potential problems. 
    Have some experience in process analysis and improvements. 
    Project leadership Business acumen/improve business operations. 
    Strong collaboration skills. 
    Be willing to go above and beyond and play an essential role in UAB HR's continued advancement
