Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Experience:
• 7+ years administering SAS environments (often multi-terabyte, enterprise-wide) .
• 5+ years with SAS RTDM (CI Studio, DI Studio, VIYA, GDRID) and digital marketing platforms.
• Experience with relational database design, data warehousing, and SQL (Oracle, My).
• 10+ Years of IT experience
• Technical Skills:
• SAS product expertise (Base SAS, Macro, PROC SQL, data steps, SAS Hash programming) .
• Linux, JBoss, Apache, shell scripting.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Roles & Responsibilities
• Platform Administration: Maintain and operate the SAS analytics environment, including configuration, user management, application bug fixes, and security patches.
• User Access Control: Use SAS Management Console to grant or revoke permissions, ensuring users can only access authorized data and reports .
• Maintenance & Upgrades: Manage SAS product installations, upgrades, and patching; perform capacity planning and hardware/software recommendations .
• Support & Incident Management: Investigate, escalate, and resolve production support incidents; maintain disaster recovery procedures
• Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain platform security via SAS metadata and Linux; enforce 508 accessibility standards •
Collaboration: Work with developers to maintain in-place programs, support coding issues, and provide best practices for analytics processes
• Change Management: Execute change management processes for new SAS releases; document configurations and procedures
