We are seeking a Senior ALIP Developer / Configurator to join a team responsible for implementing and enhancing the Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) for a leading life insurance organization.

In this role, you will work closely with business analysts, architects, and technical teams to configure, customize, and extend ALIP capabilities that support core life insurance operations. You will develop new functionality, build system integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure solutions meet quality, performance, and business requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience developing and configuring ALIP solutions and enjoys working on large-scale insurance modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and develop solutions within the Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP).
  • Customize ALIP components to support new business capabilities and product enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ALIP and internal or third-party applications.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and recommend technical approaches aligned with ALIP best practices.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure development follows established coding standards and quality guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with QA teams to support testing and resolve defects.
  • Support system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production releases.
  • Develop technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years of hands-on Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) development or configuration.
  • Strong experience configuring and customizing ALIP components.
  • Experience developing integrations between ALIP and enterprise applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues.
  • Ability to review code and mentor other developers on development standards and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with source control and modern software development practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
