Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will support production by setting up and operating printing equipment while maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
Work Authorization:
To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Shift:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Mix and prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
  • Check paper for the correct type, size, color and quantity.
  • Inspect plates to confirm the correct format.
  • Visually inspect forms throughout each production run to maintain quality.
  • Work with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, reorganizing work as needed to meet changing deadlines.
  • Follow all safety requirements and procedures related to the position and equipment.

You Must Have:
  • Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • High degree of mechanical ability.
  • Good reading and comprehension skills.

Requirements Within This Position:
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying.
