Rosen, Weissman, Gerardo & Coberly CPA Services LLC is a fast-growing CPA firm expanding its tax team. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager to lead, train, and mentor our tax staff.

Our collaborative team approach offers extensive opportunities to learn, teach, and work across a wide range of client engagements. In this role, you will oversee the review and signing of tax returns, support staff development, and deliver high-quality tax services to our clients.

Position Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of individual, corporate, and partnership taxation

  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • 5+ years of tax preparation experience

  • Experience with Drake Tax and QuickBooks Online preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • CPA or EA license required

  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills

  • Self-starter with solid technical and computer skills

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends during tax season

  • High attention to detail

Specific Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses using Drake Tax

  • Review and sign 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1041, and 990 tax returns

  • Assist with tax planning, consulting, and special client projects

  • Identify potential deductions, credits, and planning opportunities to maximize client benefits

  • Evaluate and communicate potential tax liabilities

  • Manage, train, and develop tax staff

  • Address client questions and review comments from partners or clients

  • Recommend additional firm services when beneficial
