What are tax systems?

Tax systems refer to the structures and processes that governments use to collect taxes from individuals and businesses. These systems include various types of taxes, such as income tax, sales tax, and corporate tax, as well as the rules and regulations that govern how taxes are assessed and collected. Tax systems can be progressive, regressive, or flat, depending on how the tax burden is distributed among taxpayers. Understanding a country's tax system is crucial for compliance and effective financial planning.
