Job description

Description
Edgar Law Group, LLP is seeking an experienced Tax Strategist - CPA to support sophisticated tax compliance, tax planning, tax controversy, and client advisory work for individuals, business owners, high-net-worth clients, trusts, estates, partnerships, corporations, and other complex taxpayers.
This role is well-suited for a licensed CPA who enjoys technical tax work, client communication, problem-solving, tax research, and practical strategy. The right candidate will be comfortable preparing and reviewing complex returns, analyzing taxpayer financial information, responding to IRS and state tax notices, supporting tax controversy matters, and helping clients understand their options with clarity and professionalism.
This is not a narrow compliance-only position. The Tax Strategist - CPA will work closely with the Firm's attorneys, tax professionals, and leadership team to help deliver coordinated legal, tax, and financial solutions for clients facing complex federal and state tax issues.
The ideal candidate will bring strong public accounting, tax advisory, tax preparation, tax research, and client-service experience. Experience with IRS or state tax correspondence, tax notices, collections, installment agreements, offers in compromise, penalty abatement, multi-state tax issues, foreign reporting, high-net-worth individuals, fiduciary returns, business entities, or tax controversy matters is especially valuable.
