Job description

Our client is a Calgary‑based EPCM firm and market leader in oil and gas processing, specializing in facilities design and operational support for natural gas, conventional oil, heavy oil, and carbon capture projects. Serving top oil and gas producers in Canada and worldwide, they are executing numerous facility and pipeline projects. As they grow globally, they need an experienced Tax Manager to lead international tax activities and complex accounting matters. 


In this pivotal role, you will drive tax planning, ensure global compliance, and strengthen financial reporting while supporting business expansions and internal controls. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end corporate tax compliance across Canada, Australia, the U.S., and India, analyzing withholding tax and treaty relief, advising on corporate restructurings and foreign affiliate reorganizations, and collaborating with international tax advisors on regulatory changes. You will also support transfer pricing, indirect tax matters, and lead major tax projects. 


To qualify, you must have 5–10+ years of tax or accounting experience and a CPA designation. A background in public accounting or multinational firms is preferred, and cross‑border tax planning and corporate reorganization experience is essential. Strong knowledge of Canadian and international tax legislation, treaty interpretation, and project leadership skills are required. Oil & gas EPCM experience is an asset.
