Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Everence is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accounting Intern to support our Accounting team during tax season. This internship provides hands-on experience with fiduciary tax processes and offers exposure to tax software and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for students preparing for a career in accounting or tax services.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Perform account maintenance using the OneSource tax software.
  2. Maintain and update account logs using Excel spreadsheets.
  3. Assist the accounting team with the preparation and review of fiduciary tax returns.
  4. Print/publish and mail tax documents.
  5. Contribute to other special projects based on experience, skills, and interest.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Enrolled as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting 
  2. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  3. Ability to follow detailed written procedures with accuracy
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  5. Eagerness to learn and contribute within a collaborative team environment 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None or Yes
SCHEDULE: Full-time, Approximately 32 hours per week, Mon – Fri 
(Late January 2027 – mid April 2027)
