About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedย Senior Tax Account Managerย to join our growing team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and guide junior staff. Youโ€™ll play a critical role in helping small business clients navigate their accounting and tax needs with precision, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset. If you're a C.P.A. with strong technical skills and a passion for client service, weโ€™d love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review various types of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns.

  • Conduct tax research and review tax research completed by staff.

  • Respond to inquiries and notices from the IRS and state/local tax authorities.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.

  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior and staff accountants.

  • Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and industry trends.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Transition and reconcile paper-based or improperly managed digital bookkeeping into QuickBooks and tax software accurately.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Activeย Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) licenseย is required.

  • Strong command ofย Excelย andย Word; must be aย power user in Excel and QuickBooks.

  • Experience using professional-grade tax preparation software (Ultra Tax experience is a plus).

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Education & Experience:
