Familiarity with tattoo machines, sterilization equipment, and digital design tools like Procreate is essential. Collaboration with other artists is common, as sharing techniques and feedback can help ensure high-quality results and a positive client experience.

What is a tattoo studio?

A tattoo studio is a professional establishment where licensed tattoo artists create permanent body art for clients using sterilized equipment and specialized inks. These studios often follow strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment. In addition to tattooing, many studios may also offer related services such as body piercing or tattoo removal. Clients can choose from pre-designed artwork or work with artists to create custom designs. Tattoo studios typically require appointments, but some also accept walk-ins depending on artist availability.
