Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our GTI-RES team and lead the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs. This role will be responsible for driving projects from planning through completion while ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, financial targets, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, project management expertise, financial acumen, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. You will work closely with engineering, product, business, client, and vendor teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, technical requirements, resources, budgets, milestones, and timelines.
  • Lead complex technology projects and programs from initiation through successful delivery.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address issues, risks, and roadblocks.
  • Develop and execute contingency and risk mitigation plans to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and promote continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, product, business, and other technology teams to define project scope and technical requirements.
  • Apply strong technical knowledge to understand complex technology environments and identify effective solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and project leadership while coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships and leverage vendor products and shared technology services effectively.
  • Translate business and technical objectives into actionable project plans and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Influence decision-making through clear communication, data, and sound judgment.
  • Provide regular project status updates, including milestones, risks, financials, issues, and dependencies.
  • Communicate sensitive or complex information tactfully and professionally.
  • Address project and personnel issues openly, promptly, and with appropriate discretion.
  • Maintain effective communication with leadership and peers across different practices and functions.

Project Financial Management

  • Manage project financials, including revenue, margins, bill rates, utilization, and profitability.
  • Ensure timely revenue recognition and accurate project billing.
  • Monitor project payables and receivables and address billing issues promptly.
  • Integrate and maintain accurate financial data across assigned projects.
  • Analyze project profitability and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and improve margins.
  • Monitor financial performance against project budgets and client purchase orders.

PMO Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly project manager timekeeping accurately and align time with assigned projects.
  • Ensure project time billing is properly allocated against client purchase orders.
  • Adhere to monthly revenue recognition requirements and reporting processes.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, financial information, and status reporting.
  • Support PMO standards, processes, governance, and reporting requirements.

Demand Management

  • Manage technology demand processes using ServiceNow.
  • Capture, assess, prioritize, and track incoming technology demands.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to evaluate demand requirements, resource availability, priorities, and timelines.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are aligned to approved demands.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a related technology leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing complex technology projects and programs within a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Strong technical fluency and understanding of technology products, applications, services, and vendor solutions.
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party technology partners.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project resources, budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to break down complex business, technical, and operational objectives into actionable tasks.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Demand Management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project and MS Visio.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work in technology rooms and end-user spaces as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing technology programs within a large enterprise or global organization.
  • Experience with PMO governance, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and project billing.
  • PMP, PMI, Agile, Scrum, or other relevant project management certification.
  • Experience managing client purchase orders and project financials.
  • Experience working with technology vendors and shared technology services.
