ASRC Federal Netcentric Technology, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  KEOS is a base maintenance/operations support-type contract, also known as BMC or BOS. This position provides complete project management services for various repair and construction projects across Kirtland AFB (KAFB).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complete, cradle-to-grave project management and execution services.
  • Ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within approved scope and budget.
  • Manage and oversee engineering projects for design, design-build, and simplified design in support of projects and construction from any source of funding and with any execution agent.
  • Manage projects from requirements development, through design approval, contract award, and construction completion.
  • Assignments range from supporting team members on requirement development thru design and implementation/execution of construction projects.
  • Support project proposal development and implementation; projects range in multi-discipline complexity.
  • Provide ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates for projects, as well as risk assessments to support proper project prioritization.
  • Perform engineering and project management actions in support of multi-discipline facility projects under minimal supervision, working closely with in-house Professional Engineers and AIA certified Architects.
  • Coordinate internal charrettes for internal pre-design efforts and facilitate success of external A/E design efforts through coordination and effective communication.
  • Actively participate in technical design reviews and requirements validation; support a range of design development, analysis or review tasks.
  • Assist in generation of specifications and engineering data.
  • Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
  • Develop, maintain, and produce documentation in support ROM and Task Plan efforts. Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
  • Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
  • Support integration of project resources and scheduling.
  • Prepare and present presentations/briefings to KAFB government counterparts and clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied science (Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management, etc).
  • Minimum of three years' experience in project management.
  • Commitment and capacity to work in a collaborative environment in support of Air Force mission in compliance with established DoD criteria.  
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 software suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Possess and employ excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Be able to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision.
  • Be willing and able to work with customers and coworkers in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
  • Must be a US citizen and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or facility management from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or from a program certified by the National Architecture Accrediting Board (NAAB).
  • Project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience working at military installation with strongest preference for those with experience working for or at a US Air Force base.
  • Proficiency in CAD, ESRI ArcGIS, and/or project management software.
