Task Order Manager - Security Focus (Senior) Job Locations US-VA-Hampton Requisition ID 2025-162309 Position Category Project Management Clearance Top Secret/SCI Responsibilities

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Task Order Manager with a security focus to oversee and coordinate security related programs supporting the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (480 ISRW). Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all security related projects and requirements align with organizational goals, are delivered on time, and meet quality standards. This role requires expertise in program management, leadership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

    Plan, execute, and oversee security programs and projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and mission objectives.
  • Define program objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Monitor program performance and progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization.
  • Travel required 15%.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Min experience: 16 years w/o a degree or 14 years with AS/AA or 12 years with BS/BA or 10 years with MS/MA or 8 years with PhD
  • DOD 8140 compliance based on DCWF code 111 advanced Level
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or PMP frameworks).
  • Familiarity with DoD, Air Force, and Intelligence Community (IC) security policies and procedures.
  • Expertise in information, industrial, personnel, and physical security concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting 480 ISRW or similar military organization.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Site Security Manager (SSM), Special Security Officer (SSO), or Unit Security Manager (USM).
  • Understanding of Air Force senior level staffing processes.
  • Experience Level: Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Education: Master's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 15 years, as a substitute to the master's degree.

Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
