Job description

OVERVIEW: This role is responsible for assisting the DIA Cyber and Security Division in the daily management of projects/taskings received from both internal and external organizations. This role will also provide edit review support of internal Cyber and Security correspondence in response to projects/taskers. The management involves the tracking, assigning, distribution of Request For Information (RFI) taskings that encompass a range of tasks covering a variety of Cyber Security Topic. Here are the functions typically associated with this role: GENERAL DUTIES: This role is accountable for the effective management of tasks utilizing DIAs DARTS Software program and or Microsoft project. Provides administrative expertise in the management and tracking of assigned project or task(s). Reviews status of projects/tasks, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Responsible for the scheduling and assignment of assigned project or task(s). The management of tasks that are received both internally and externally from various organizations on a variety of topics will involve utilizing DARTS for the receipt, assignment, and distribution of taskers to various Cyber and Security offices. Will require keeping a daily, weekly and monthly schedule to remain aware of each task and can estimate their duration or prioritize the most important ones. Being able to evaluate the task's importance correctly and execute them based on their priority. Ability to decide which tasks to prioritize and how long it may take to perform them. This role will be responsible for reviewing each task for applicability to the Cyber and Security mission, be responsible for recommending closure of tasks that don't apply to the organization. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 5-7 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of professional support, education, or professional training. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. * This role should have knowledge of DoD , Intelligence Community and Federal Government Policies and a background knowledge of Cyber Security. This role will also be responsible for providing recommendations to taskers that will be provided to the Cyber and Security Division Leadership. * This role will be responsible for reviewing incoming taskers, determining proper assignment, tracking to completion, reviewing responses, and ensuring that taskers are submitted and closed on time. * This role will require the high-level ability to communicate both verbally and in written formats to DIA Senior leadership on the status of the Project/Task management program and provide recommendation to the various tasking that are processed through DARTS. * This role will require the ability to adapt and be flexible in changes to suspense timelines, and changes in tasking requirements to effectively manage this program. The candidate will also provide document review and make minor corrective changes on correspondence and deliverables that are required from a task. * Will work with DIA and DIA CIO tasking POCs in ensuring the Cyber and Security Division is represented and be a voice for the Division on matters involving taskers. Candidate may have to contact external organizations as needed to acquire clarity and further understanding of the tasking requirements. * Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and resistance and recommend solutions. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of Cyber and Security front office operations on the management of taskings. * Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that will aid the front office personnel and new employees to understand and know how to manage the taskings for the Division. Identify opportunities for automation and optimization. * Knowledge Sharing and Training: Share knowledge and expertise with team members through training sessions, workshops, and mentoring activities. CLEARANCE: TS/SCI minimum
