Job Summary:
The Front Desk Supervisor supports and oversees the daily operations of front desk activities for the Travel Task Force team, ensuring exceptional service, efficient check-in/check-out processes, and smooth coordination across field locations. This role acts as a team lead for front desk attendants and serves as a key liaison between team members and hospitality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist front desk attendants in delivering courteous, professional service
- Oversee check-in/check-out procedures and ensure accurate room assignments and records
- Train new front desk staff and provide ongoing guidance to ensure adherence to service standards
- Respond to and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely manner
- Ensure front desk areas are clean, well-stocked, and properly organized at all times
- Monitor and maintain records of staff movements, team arrivals/departures, and lodging occupancy
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping, culinary, and field operations teams to align support services
- Communicate shift updates, operational issues, and guest concerns to management as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have SPOG SYSTEM experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in front desk, customer service, or hospitality environments
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage shifting demands in a mobile setting
- Solid organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Professional demeanor and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends or evenings
- Willingness to travel and adapt to various temporary work environments
