Front Office Manager - Honolulu/Waikiki Beach

Starting wage: $26/hr - $30/hr DOE


About the Role:

The Front Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front desk and guest services within a hospitality environment. We are located in bustling Honolulu, just two blocks away from iconic Waikiki Beach. This position is responsible for leading and supervising the front office team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage guest relations, and maintain operational standards. The Front Office Manager oversees daily administrative tasks, coordinates with other departments, and handles guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Success in this role results in enhanced guest satisfaction, optimized front office workflows, and a positive representation of the organization’s brand. Ultimately, the Front Office Manager contributes significantly to the overall guest experience and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a high-volume hotel or corporate front office environment.
  • Proficiency with front office management software and reservation systems.
  • Certification in hospitality management or customer service excellence.

  • Demonstrated leadership training or management development courses.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate front office staff activities to ensure efficient and courteous service delivery.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front office team members to promote professional development and performance.
