POSITION TITLE: Adjunct Hiring Pool - Hospitality & Event Management
COMPENSATION RANGE: 1,545.00 - 1,888.00 per credit hour
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Faculty

Position Summary:
This hiring pool is for temporary, part-time adjunct facultyin the Department of Management. We deliver courses in management areas,including hospitality, event management, hospitality and event operations, andanalytics at the Monfort College of Business. Preference will be given tocandidates who also have the ability and experience in teaching face-to-face,online, and hybrid modalities.
The Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business at the University ofNorthern Colorado is recognized for delivering excellence in businesseducation. It is the first and only business program to receive the MalcolmBaldrige National Quality Award from the Office of the President of the UnitedStates (2004). Only the top business schools in the U.S. are accreditedby AACSB International. Minimum Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in hospitality management, event management, or a closely related field.
  • Qualified to teach undergraduate courses in hospitality management, event management, and related subjects.
  • Demonstrated record or potential for teaching excellence.
  • Relevant industry experience in hospitality or event management.

PreferredQualifications:
  • Experience with experiential and active learning methods in a collegiate environment.
  • Familiarity with program development and course design in hospitality and event management.
  • Demonstrated ability or experience in teaching in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities using a Learning Management System (LMS).
