Job description

Tank Cleaning Field Supervisor

Oversees and coordinates activities related to cleaning tanks, vats, kettles, and chutes used in the production of paint, varnish, and related products. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Supervision: Manage and coordinate the work of tank cleaners.

Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and guidelines during tank cleaning operations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cleaning processes.

Quality Control: Review cleaning records and maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation.

Product Removal: Oversee the removal of recoverable product from tanks using fixed connections and piping (decommissioning).

Tank Isolation: Implement procedures for tank isolation.

Degassing: Facilitate vapor and gas freeing of the tank.

Atmospheric Testing: Conduct atmospheric testing of the tank interior.

Cleaning: Supervise tank cleaning activities.

De-isolation and Recommissioning: Ensure proper de-isolation and return of the tank to service.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in tank cleaning and working with dry bulk on cargo ships. 

Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and guidelines.

Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

REQUIREMENTS:  

- Must have valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.

- Must be able to pass Drug Screen.

Hours:  Monday - Saturday  

Rate: $20- $25 per hour DOE
