Role Overview:
Assist tank welder and mechanics with pressure testing, drying out tanks, repair tank containers and buffing inside of tank as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Pressure test tanks, drain and dry out tanks
  • Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets, and gauges
  • Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
  • Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
  • Lubricate and clean parts
  • Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
  • Use hand tools and power tools
  • Buff Tanks as needed

Qualifications:
  • Candidates will possess a mechanical background
  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks
  • Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks

Starting Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Location: 16230 De Zavalla Road, Channelview, TX 77530
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
