Job Summary

To refurbish grease tanks by cleaning, painting and repairing them for re-distribution to customer locations.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts available

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals to prepare tanks for refurbishing.
  • Perform repairs to grease tanks and lids to make them road ready for raw material customers.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Report any issues to the General Manager about repair problems with the tanks for possible changes to make them safer.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years shop experience.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication, cutting, and welding.
  • Able to work unsupervised to complete tank repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to read and write to understand safety training and maintain work records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lead; can give and take direction.
  • Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
