We are looking to hire a Tank Farm Supervisor at our Manufacturing Plant in Las Crueces, NM.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead tank farm operators accordingly to the McCormick  policies and Procedures
  2. Coordinate and supervise 90 minutes tasks
  3. Coordinate and supervise 20 minutes tasks
  4. Maintain stored products in tanks according to Quality and Food Safety  Jurado Inc. and customers' specifications.
  5. Assign duties and responsibilities to perform plug, air, manual mix, and clean sides to preserve the quality and food safety of the product.
  6. Inspect fermentation tanks in the frequency indicated in SOPs
  7. Perform monthly tank inventory
  8. Installs water lines, repairs faucets, water hoses
  9. Notify the Operations Manager of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
  10. Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy.
  11. Inform the Operations Manager, Quality Manager, or any other Management personnel of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
  12. Will be accountable to McCormick Food Safety and Quality Principles.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Must be able to physically stand, stoop, bend, twist, turn, and reach overhead.    Often required repetitive motion.
  2. Must be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
  3. Must have good communication skills.
  4. Maintain a clean work environment.
  • If this position is absent, the Plant Manager will designate a trained worker to assume the duties and responsibilities of the job position.

First consideration will be given to employees who have been displaced from their jobs for positions with the same grade or lower. If there are no qualified candidates, all other employees will then be considered. No displaced employee will receive preferential consideration for a promotional opportunity.

McCormick may recruit external candidates concurrently in order to expedite the recruitment process. Qualified internal candidates submitting bids within the first ten (10) days of the job being posted will be considered before external candidates. Internal bids received after the tenth (10th) day will be considered along with external candidates.
