About Tandem

At Tandem, we’re on a mission to deliver unrivaled, accessible healthcare to every pet . We’ve created a future-forward veterinary practice by integrating telehealth, mobile clinics, and a full-service hospital into one seamless ecosystem.

We are serious about innovation, from developing our own AI-driven software that automates administrative tasks and streamlines workflows to outfitting our clinic with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. We believe in empowering vets to focus on what they do best: delivering high-quality, proactive care. By joining Tandem, you’ll become part of a collaborative community that values tenacity, collaboration, and growth so you can thrive personally and professionally.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Cutting-Edge Tools & Technology : Our proprietary AI platform allows you to reduce paperwork, quickly access patient records, and stay informed about emerging trends in diagnostics and treatments.

  • Proactive, Preventive Care Model : Move beyond a reactive approach—educate pet parents, design personalized wellness plans, and help reduce emergency visits.

  • Integrated Services : Experience a unified workflow that connects telehealth, mobile visits, and our physical clinic, ensuring a frictionless patient journey.

  • Collaborative Culture : Share knowledge and feedback with a team of forward-thinking veterinarians, technicians, and leadership who actively listen and evolve processes.

  • Flexibility & Growth : Join an organization that invests in your success. At Tandem, you’re more than just a number – we offer personalized benefits and tailored professional development that recognize your strengths and goals.

  • Focus on Medicine, Not Admin : Our management team handles the non-medical aspects, letting you practice at the top of your license and find deeper satisfaction in your work.

Key Responsibilities

Take the lead in difficult conversations, providing guidance to associates and staff as needed.

  • Proactive Health Strategy: Take an active role in shaping the clinic's preventive care protocols, ensuring that vaccinations and treatments align with Tandem’s philosophy of proactive health management. Lead initiatives to improve preventive care practices across the team.

  • Advanced Diagnostics & Clinical Decision-Making: Oversee the use of cutting-edge diagnostic tools, guiding the team in the interpretation of results. Take responsibility for making complex diagnostic decisions and ensuring that all tests and procedures contribute to the highest level of patient care.

  • Collaborative Practice & Mentorship: Actively mentor and support clinical team members, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and the sharing of knowledge among all team members.

  • Uphold & Elevate Clinical Standards: Stay at the forefront of industry best practices, maintaining compliance with licensing regulations, and setting the benchmark for clinical excellence. Lead training and development initiatives to maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Lead Process & Workflow Improvements: Proactively identify areas for improvement in clinic workflows, technology integration, and clinical protocols. Drive process changes to optimize efficiency, enhance patient care, and support the growth of Tandem’s clinical capabilities. Provide strategic insights into the evolution of the practice.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Licensing: Valid veterinary license to practice in Massachusetts or able to obtain before the start date.
