Job description

Are you dependable, hardworking, and not afraid to get your hands dirty? Talon/LPE is hiring Roustabout Laborers who thrive in physically demanding outdoor environments and want to make a meaningful impact through hands-on work.  Our ideal team member is someone who takes pride in doing the job right and brings a strong work ethic and a safety-first mindset to the table.

What You’ll Do:
  • Shovel, rake, and assist in site cleanup, remediation, and underground line spotting.

  • Operate pressure washers, pumps, valves, and ladders with care and precision.

  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for daily jobsite operations.

  • Support equipment operators and spot heavy equipment during excavation and other tasks.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all site supervisor directions and Talon/LPE safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • 0–2 years of experience in construction, oilfield, or environmental work.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record per company and insurance requirements.

  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.

  • Mechanically inclined and able to safely use equipment such as pressure washers, ladders, and pumps.

  • Out-of-town travel could be required 5 days a week and will include extended hours as needed.

  • Ability to wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

  • Willing to obtain HAZWOPER 40 and other required certifications (company supported).

  • Able to professionally communicate with clients and follow all QA/QC procedures.

Working Conditions:
  • Outdoor work year-round in varying weather conditions.

  • Travel required based on project locations.

  • Availability for long hours, including early mornings and late evenings.
