Summary:
The Warehouse Worker II is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
What will you do?
- Process customer orders daily to meet delivery expectations.
- Perform tasks across multiple warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures.
- Complete documentation for hazardous materials shipments as required.
- Ensure inventory is stored accurately and safely.
- Operate powered industrial equipment such as order pickers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of general warehouse experience.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
- Ability to handle hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and experience with scanning equipment preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Basic English reading and writing skills required.
- Warehouse setting with active movement and equipment operation.
- Involves physical activity including lifting, walking, and standing for long periods.
- May involve handling hazardous materials and following strict safety procedures.
